Question about Sylvania 202SL8 TV

Green Outline.... I get a green outline whenever I look at Black Text on my info screen, and I also noticed when watching family guy that the characters had a green outline as well, I tried adjusting the colors and everything else, but it did not work. Is there anyway of fixing this without having to take it to a repair shop?

THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN FIX IT WITHOUT SENDING IT TO THE REPAIR SHOP BUT IF YOU ARE A DIY PERSON YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIX IT- ON THE NECK OF THE TUBE THERE IS MAGNETIC RINGS WHICH MUST BE ADJUSTED THE PROCEDURE IS CALLED CONVERGENCE WHICH IS NORMALLY CARRIED OUT BY SERVICE TECHNICIANS

LVDS Cable is corroded - This is the cable the provides video from the TV Video Process board to the LCD Panels Timing Control Board.

Honestly, if you can take the TV back do so. If not, Service it using the manufacturer warranty

Almost certainly you need the convergence IC's replaced. This is a big job you cannot do yourself.

Yes, Convergence settings should be tried first before any color adjustment or any fluid changes are done. Remember that there are 3 colors to notice. Red, Green, Blue. The Green is the only one that you can not move with an adjustment The Red and Blue is ligned up on green. Some cases it does matter how linear the Green color is across the board, just how close you get the blue and red on top of green is what matters.

stairmaster 4000 won't turn on. It has a reset box attached. The cord to an outlet runs out from that box. I press in the long needle like red plastic button. The red light on the rest box turns on (red light), but only stays on for a minute, then shuts off. No power goes to the machine even for that one minute. I would guess a fuse was blown, but I am just guessing... and I do not know where this fuse would be, even if it had one.
