The tv Magic Focus button don't solved these R,G,B colors lines mis alignments problems.Mean ur tv have a convergence pictures problems,it is dead.Ur tv now have any colors lines like R,G,B mis alignments,have a colors shadows picture or a 3D pictures look alike?Yes,mean ur tv convergence board it is dead to causes all of these pictures problems.The tv convergence board must have to repair like replacing 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.To fixed the tv convergence board to solved the tv convergence pictures problems.The tvs shops will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.
U turn to another channel,now it look like u have a picture of a shadow behind it?Yes,than u have freeze a picture on the tv for a long,might have a tv screen burn in.Tries go into tv menu go to colors setting.Tries contrast setting all the way up to maximum.Tries colors a third of a setting.The brightness half of it setting.Should or might help to solved this problems.
I followed GuestUser/ Slinteriors advice and I fixed it. Open the front of the TV and there are 6 little nobs in the front. The botton 3 are what you need to adjust. from left to right the color controls are BLUE, RED GREEN. For the blue lines, slightly (I really mean very slightly) turn the botton left nob clockwise (right).
Yes it is convergence, but the first things to think about are. Did the set get bumped when you moved it? If so likely one of the guns is out of alignment physically due to jarring.
However the other next best thing to look at, is if the set is near any type of magnetic object, mainly like a stereo speaker (larger ones) so if that is true, try moving it away slowly while the set is playing to see if it clears up.
Lastly that the screnn itself is off or broken again a physical problem to resolve.
