Hi there, I seem to have the same problem. The specific scenario for me is this, the GPS was stored and not used for about a year. I put in the recharger (both AC and car) and I have to wiggle it in order for the system to boot. If I move it, it will turn itself off and it had to wiggle it again to get it to turn on. Once it's on, if I left it in the same position (not move it), it then ask me to touch the cross hair for calibration. I left the unit over night, thinking it may recharge the battery, but it doesn't. As soon as I unplug it goes dead. I wonder if this was the same for you.
Also, where do you get the batterty replaced and for how much? Hi there, I seem to have the same problem. The specific scenario for me is this, the GPS was stored and not used for about a year. Please try and reset the unit , check for fault in the settings . You can also remove the power and try a long reset and if after the boot there is no detection it is best to seek assistance specially if the unit is new as you can avail of free replacement warranty.
Click to the Downloads tab or User Manual tab for manuals covering the C310x hardware and the MioMap application. Manuals are .pdf format, english and french versions are available.
try the same thing as described in this post : http://www.fixya.com/support/t428749-error_608. If the blue screen shows up...your device is saved...because you can reinstall the software
