Sorry! I have to ask! Are you wearing plastic or fake leather shoes? I found that sticking to genuine leather shoes is the best. Plastic and fake leather shoes do not breathe so to say and so the smell stays in the shoes and can also cause fungus problems. I had this problem and with lots of embarrassment this has been the best solution.

You can just put baking soda in your shoes. That stuff does a pretty good job of neutralizing a lot of odors.

Natural ways to help with foot odor

Many of us have foot odor due to many reasons. A good breathable pair of shoes or sneakers and socks will help. But when your tootsies need extra help try these solutions:

Give your feet a nice soak in water with a bit of vinegar in it. Even a tablespoon of vinegar in 4 inches of water will do. Soak for 10-20 minutes then rinse off with water only.

Rub some natural oils such as aromatherapy oils on your feet before bed and wear socks over that so you won't ruin your sheets.

Give your feet a foot rub with some salts any salts scented or unscented will do. What you want is to scrub them so as to take off some dead skin then run with a good smelling oil or cream. If you don't have any creams use some baby petroleum jelly you can find in any dollar store.

Spray your feet with foot spray before wearing your shoes. Your shoes are very important if they smell so will your feet. It is hard to tell if they smell sometimes. Try the smell test on shoes after you have worn them. spray or disinfect if needed.

Always wash your feet well when taking showers or bath. No, they will not get clean cause the water is dripping on them, they need to be washed like the rest of the body.

Happy feet are also manicured feet go get a pedicure! Even guys get them. But make sure the place practices good hygiene and disinfects things for each customer.

Enjoy your good smelling pampered tootsies!

How to make your shoes last longer

Here's how to make your shoes last longer: 1. 1.When you buy shoes, buy sustainable, long-lasting shoes. Purchase two pairs of sustainable shoes. Switch out your shoes every twenty-four hours. This will increase the longevity of both pairs, and it will decrease their smells as well.
2.2.Don't kick off your shoes. Kicking off your Sunday shoes may be the traditional beginning for the relaxing weekend, but it quickly wears out the shoes. Unlace your shoes, then meticulously remove them. Now you can cut loose in a carefree and/or footloose manner.
3.3.Baking soda or tea tree oil can remove nasty foot odor from your shoes.

I have a pair of 'Havana' Margaritaville loafers (leather uppers). How can I clean them? Can they be washed? (They have a slight foot odor.)

I wouldn't recommend putting them in a washer. I would just take a cloth or paper towel and wet it a bit and clean the outside. As for the inside I would buy a can of shoe spray and use that to get rid of the order. Most general stores and shoe stores carry it.
