It depends on the type of bending machine you are talking about, the thickness of the iron and how much of a bend do you want.
You can also heat the iron to very red hot and bend it without a problem.

You can try straightening it out by pouring a pot of boiling water over it then bending it back. It probably won't go back to normal but you can get close enough to the measurements.

My wrought iron door has a tamper proof screw missing. Can I replace it with another type of screw like a flathead or phillips head?

You can replace it with any type screw head. I would recommend however using a screw with the proper shank size. That is to say, a srew that is the same diameter.

Is it possible to paint over my grandmothers old wrought iron bed frame? It is in great condition and the size is right, I would just rather something a little brighter.

You need to buy a special paint for metal with special additives that prevent rust. Make sure to also buy a primer that is compatible with the paint you have selected. I found you some great instructions that should help you out.

Wipe the wrought-iron bed frames with a rag that was dipped in mineral spirits. That will help you to remove all traces of oil and grease from the frames.

Scrape rusty areas with a putty knife or scraping tool. Remove all loose rust scale. Rub the surface with steel wool, too.

Apply an oil-based primer. The primer needs to be designed for use on metal surfaces such as wrought iron. Roll on the primer with a small roller. Spread the primer with a paintbrush. Cover the whole surface with one coat of primer.

Paint the bed frames with a finish paint that has a rust inhibitor within 24 hours of priming them. That will help the primer and paint bond.

Roll on the paint in the same way you applied the primer. Use a paintbrush to make smooth, sweeping strokes to distribute the paint. Switch to a paintbrush with synthetic bristles if you decide to use a water-based paint.

Blown head gasket

yeah probably aluminum heads too. Finding a good used head is pretty hard. Some /most machine shops will mill the bottom of the head but ignore the top where the cams are. so the warped head now has a flat bottom that will likely bend some more and the cams are on a super high wear streak due to binding from the warpage. Make the machine shop bend the head back flat first and then touch up the bottom with the milling machine. Make them show you that the cam fits perfectly flat(no rocking) with the caps OFF and the lifters/rockers removed.
Then use a Corteco headgasket NOT Felpro.
You will love the result. and it will last. Keep in mind that cars with aluminum heads can't tolerate overheating like the old iron heads could.
