Question about Mitsubishi WS-65869 65" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Mitsubishi WS-65869 I purchased this in 2002 before HDTV was available in my area. Well it is now available...I have Directv with the HD dish and Samsung cable recvr for HD. I have the rcvr connected to input3. Is there something I need to do to activate the 1080i. When I press the format button it indicates 480i? Regards, Jim.

Cant get mitsubishi ws-63313 to go into hd

Call Dish back. Your HD signal has to be configured in your dish receiver. They can configure it for you over the phone. If not, then the dish guy has to adjust the wires at the splice box wherever it's located in your house. HD requires a dual cable line from the dish to the splice block. It's not the TV.
