I just bought one and had the same problem, just push the reset boton that is behind the usb conector, then it will reset, but after that you have to format the usb disk whith your computer, then download the software from the samsung problems page I found it looking for the Samsung YP-T7F firmware, then save the software directly at the mp3, to download the software you have to register yourself in the page, and thats all.

It may have a reset button, sometimes a tiny little hole that you use a paper clip to push it with. but first check the manual or online for such a button.

Mp3 player froze

try the reset button on the back, if that fails virus scan your computer, maybe you got a corrupted file on there i dont know what you have wrong with it. but you can always contact samsung. samsung will probably be able to help you out with it. its a software problem i believe. so dont do anything with it. as that might make the problem worse. contact me if you have any questions and my qualifications are not really existing.

My samsung Yepp T9 froze and won't unfreeze

To turn it off try emergency "turn of combination": Menu + Record buttons. This also will help you to reset wrong parameters in your device.

My samsung yp-s5 has frozen when i was sliding out the speaker

You may want to reformat the memory.
If it persists try hitting reset(slide the speakers and you will see on the back a hole with reset written on it and push a pin in it)

Try prerssing all the buttons on the Sansa's face at the same time holding it down for a few seconds until the screen shuts down then turn it on again. This should work

Player frozen

Sounds like the processor inside got fried.

There is a reset button on the back, just below the label. Press that in with a paper clip and see if anything happens.

My Sansa e250R, 2 gigs, froze. Help!

It seems like your E250R is experiencing a temporary system error due to a corrupted song, and needs to be reset. Try to "Soft Reset" your player, press and hold the "Menu" button until the LCD light and scroll wheel light turn off. Since the player was probably left on for more than 7 hours (as you indicated), you would need to re-charge the player before proceeding further. Charge it for at least 2-3 hours. Next, try to format the player to rid of any corruption then re-transfer the songs. If you have subscription songs, then I would suggest to delete the song you last played which caused the error. I hope this helps. There is another solution for the player, but for now this might actually resolve the issue. Let me know the results. :)
