Start your computer in SAFE MODE by pressing F8 as it's booting up and when you see the Options menu, select the 'Safe Mode with Networking' option. Do some research and see if there are any updates for that software on Lenovo's website. You might not even need that software and might be able to remove it while you're in Safe Mode.

Hotmail keeps freezing

It's the computer not necessarily Hotmail.

Slow Windows Machine!

Sounds like not enough resources such as RAM and CPU. Check Performance in Task-Manager (CTRL-ALT-DELETE). High CPU levels causes hang ups like freezing.

Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. In Startup tab, uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when only you initiate.

Consider increasing RAM.

Frequent crashes and long loading times. operating system is Windows 7. DVD drive does not display. hangs up frequently during booting

I think at this point, you should consider using your recovery disc if you have one before the system freezes up.

I have a dell inspiron 531s. it is freezing off and on. it would work well for a day then it would just freeze, not responding to the mouse or keyboard. i have reformated the hard drive change the memory...

I had the same issue. I upgraded to Windows 7 and things did work allot better but the hanging still occured. I ran system mechanic and found there was a drive problem. This was repared by the program.
The problem occured again last night and the system will not boot past the dell splash screen. I am thinking it might be the motherboard that is a fault. Mine is out of its 12 month warranty, so no way to get Dell to investigate further. Also check the systems logs after the hang happens and see if there was something logged that caused the hang.

I hope this helps?

MY SYSTEM/WINDOW HANG / FREEZE SUDDENLY THERE IS NOTHING CAN DO WITH MOUSE OR KEYBOARD(ALL NO EFFECT) - IMAGE FREEZE AT LAST VIEWED / USED PAGE FORCE TO TO OFF BY PRESSING POWER BUTTON FORMAT...

Hello!

Usually the problems is with your Operating System, if you are sure that your RAM and other hardware are OK, then it must be your OS. It could also be that your system is infected with virus, so I recommend to reformat your disk and install a fresh Windows.

If after reformatting the problem still occur, check the RAM and Processor try swapping other memory in your computer, let's see if it solve the problem.

Hope I was able to help.

This is windows Vista? What have you changed since it started crashing? The most common cause of crashing programs like this are the result of a graphics driver.

Software hang cant run

Hanging/freezing during an OS installation is indicative of a hardware issue. Usually the RAM or the mainboard is having issues.
