I have the LC-26GA4U LCD TV & mine has the exact same problem. I brought it to an authorized sharp tv repair shop it turns out its the LCD panel. the panel costs $1700 & with labor installed it comes to $2055.43. almost exactly what I paid for the tv 2 years ago. good luck. Mike
