Question about Whirlpool 18 in. ADP530 Free-standing Dishwasher
When the dishwasher is turned on it tripps all the electrics in the house (plugs only)Bit confused and its ran out of its warranty now so if anyone has any ideas id be gratefull. many thanks kerri.(ps i have checked the fuse and replaced the plug.)
Very possible its your element. has a fault down to earth. more chance of that than your motor. suggest you take off one both element wires and retry running washer. no tripping means element problem.

Could be that the motor is locked up (mechanically binding and wont turn) causing it to draw a lot of current, i.e. more amps than your breaker is sized for. is there any burning electrical smell?
