Timer light keeps flashing

The timer light keeps flashing. The motor is running, but the drum is not spinning. The door is locked. The other lights are on steady, except the timer light that keeps flashing. I've tried to hit the pause/cancel button 2x. Nothing happened. I've tried to unplug the machine, when I plug it in, a little water squirts in. Then a hear a little buzzing sound. Then the machine, kicks in but the drum does not turn.
Any thing else I can try?

Lid lock light keeps flashing and machine wont spin

Hi.

Most machines' timer boards do an additional check on the lid switch before starting the spin part of the cycle. If the lid lock light is flashing and the machine does not spin the lid switch is probably defective.

The lid switch is tested jumping its contacts or reading Ohms at switch terminal. A two-terminals switch must read continuity (low impedance) when door is closed and must read open (infinity of Ohms) when door is open. If the switch is a three contacts, the third contact is called "heater". In that case there must be continuity between the three contacts with lid closed. If the model instead of a simple switch uses a wax motor, then the lock cannot be tested by jumping contacts. The lock motor must be tested reading Ohms and checking that impedance is the same as indicated in service manual.

During the spinning cycle machine makes grunting noise and it doesn't spin. After few minutes of only noise all the lights on the dial are flashing and it doesn't do anything else. The doors are...

Sounds like you have some thing caught in the drum and/or drum bearing has give up the ghost---another thought is the drum brake is being applied while trying to spin--something could be out of sequence with timer and/or wires crossed/shorted causing functions at wrong time---can you spin it when it's off ?? the reason being you can't open the door while running is a safety factor--water doesn't run on floor--somebody getting arm caught in drum etc etc----do you have the operating manual--if so does it have trouble shooting section---to check this out while operating is a very very dangerous situation---this better left to a professional do to the machine being able to mutilate or dismember parts of you.

Neptune Washing Machine (MLE200AWW) spins but water is not pumped all the way out. I can hear it slosh in the drum if I spin the drum manually.

Hi, the sloshing sound is normal because of the balance ring which has liquid in it...

I would be concerned about your door latch wax motor ( part # 12002535) though... See Neptune Help for more information about replacing the faulty wax motor with brown colored actuator tip before it damages your machine control board. When the wax motor shorts out it will blow the Q6 triac and then the R11 resistor will burn and your door probably won't lock anymore as indicated by the door locked light not coming on. The next thing you will notice is that your clothes will be soaking wet after the wash cycle because the spin cycle will not work if the door does not lock...

Your machine control board is located above the dryer on the right side.

Every Maytag Neptune front loader with a timer knob (non digital) has a wax motor and all of them shipped with faulty one except the later 2000 series stacker models. You should proactively replace the wax motor with the new design (with black tip) to prevent the Q6 R11 failure on the control board. If you're too late you can try the STAGE 1 repair kit at the same site above.

To inspect your door latch wax motor on the stackers you:

? Unplug machine

? Remove the (2) screws holding center panel and remove panel

? Remove the (1) center screw holding the top panel located inside compartment above washer

? Remove the top panel to expose the door latch assembly

I hope this helps you.

Dryer turns on but does not start when i push the start button. The timer comes on all the buttons light up, light is on inside dryer, but does not start just makes a sound when i hit the start button

if it's a humming sound the motor is bad or something is jammed keeping the motor from spinning.open the dryer door and move the drum by hand if the drum can't be moved the belt could be jammed on something or there's something stuck in the blower wheel.the blower wheel is behind the duct that the lint filter slides into.if you can move the drum then you most likely have a bad motor, try spinning the drum and push the door switch in and have someone else push the push to start button and see if the dryer will start,if the motor has a flat spot it could start like this.let me know what you find

Maytag neptune MLG2000AWW does not turn off at end of spin cycle

d sounds as if your having a timer issue here. not recognizing the end of cycle and entering a new one ( bad timer).. as far as time of unlocking this is normal, theres a wax motor holding the door shut for i believe 3 min's.. and the water sloshing sounds is also normal they use a "water filled" balance ring around the perimeter of tub to help with the overall balance of machine
