Darkness I am using two of these projectors simultaneously on two different sides of the room. I just changed the lamps in them. All the settings are the same yet one of them is noticeably darker.

Some variation between units is normal, but if the dimness is extreme, check to make sure the new lamp is seated properly. A small difference in mounting position will make a big difference in brightness. Note that, if the old lamp exploded in the unit, the optics may require cleaning, in which case, take the unit to a service facility to have this done.

Have an infocus litepro 580, lamp and speakers works fine. Projector will only show the "infocus systems" opening display without changing to my video source. All cables are correctly in,...

Go into the settings menu of the projector and turn off the auto source function, then select the input that you are using.

if using a laptop you may have to simultaneously press your FN and relevant 'F' key to send the signal out to the projector. The 'F' key usually has an image of two side by side monitors or it says LCD/CRT. Wait a few seconds each time for the signal to be sent to the projector. Sometimes you may have to repeat this action 3 times to get the image on both your laptop and your projector.

4805 Lamp & Remote

This symptom can be caused by a few different conditions. Do you hear the fans running? If not then possibly the over temp protection switch has failed.
or the lamp cover is not securely in place.

If the fans are running (you can feel air flow) then either the lamp has failed prematurely or the lamp power supply (ballast) has failed or you have replaced the lamp and failed to reset the lamp timer and it has reached it's limit which can be reset by pressing both the volume up and volume down buttons on the the projector simultaneously for 10 seconds.
This will reset the lamp timer.

Good luck!

Overheating

Set the lamp to economy mode, make sure it is being used in a cool room with easy air flow thru the projector. If the problem persists, there are two fans inside and a thermistor that takes the temp reading, there is small adjustment POT on the board to increase the operating temp if needed.
