Question about Jenn-Air SCE30600 Slide-In Electric Kitchen Range
Jenn-air kitchen range produces a random chattering noise. Range functions all work (oven heats, burners heat, timer works, etc). Noise occurs whether we are or are not using the range. Model number SCE3430W. The model slected below was as clse as I could get to the actual model.
Our Jenn-Air SCE4320 of 1997 made the random chattering, behind the digital clock. There is a printed circuit behind the chrome bezel (two screws under), no point in removing the bezel. The board used to cost $200 but is no longer available. By accident, we turned the dial to read "5". The clock thinks this is an instruction, and waits for the next entry. We never enter. The chattering has stopped while the clock waits. We haven't had a squeekie, for nigh onto a weekie.
