I get no dial tone when I remove my phone from the cradle. If I call out, I cannot be heard; If someone calles in, they can hear me, but I cannot hear them. I have replaced the batteries and let charge for over 12 hours.
First, I want to make sure you described the problem correctly. First you say you do not hear dial tone (ear piece) Then, if you call out you cannot be heard (microphone) Then if someone calls, you cannot hear them (ear piece) These sound like major, unrelated and conflicting problems. I do run into a lot of problem descriptions where people get confused with this. If all the problems were in the ear-piece this would make a lot more sense and may be a simple problem with a bad connection to the ear-piece.
