Element needs replacing

How do I get the back panel off my F254/3X candy oven, there appear to be no screws inside holding it on? I need to remove it to replace the element.

Thanks alot! I tried to explain this to the engineer over the phone as he was telling me I could take out the element myself from the inside. I think he thought I was a silly woman who wouldn't know what a screw looked like. Once again many thanks Sam

You need to remove the outer rear panel of oven to gain access to heater on this model.
The element is attached to a panel at the rear of oven , which when removed gives you access to the element..
It cann ot be done from inside the oven.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Trying to remove a New World 444447110 Fan Oven Element

I have just done this repair, so in case it is useful for anyone looking. Once you have got the guard plate off from inside the oven that covers the fan and the element (four screws), there are three screws holding the element in place. One can be undone from inside the oven, the other two you need to take the back of the oven off (six screws, quite easy to get back on). This allows you to get at these screws, undo the electrical connections, and take out the old element.

It was slightly fiddly to get the new element in, but best to secure it in place with the screw from inside the oven, then screw in the two at the back, before reconnecting the electrical connectors.

My neff b1421 does not heat up and has left a "chalky dust" substance in the oven?

The dust is from where the ring element has blown. remove the back panel 4-6 torx 20 screws and the blow on the element should be pretty obvious, part no is 499003. can be replace from inside the unit, one screw on the right of the ring and two on the holding bracket. Obviously, isolate from mains, be careful when you remove the element at the bracket side, so as not to let the connection wires drop into the back cavity or you will have to remove the whole oven and back of the oven to retrieve them. One tag on each prong of the element (doesn't matter which way round they go)
Best of luck

Can you replace oven element, cannot see any screws in oven to remove plate to gain access

You will have to remove the oven from the housing, and then remove the rear cover of oven, and gain access to the securing screws for the element from the rear of the oven, you will see how it is fixed once you remove the outer panel of oven

I have a zanussi built in oven model no zbf 860b which the fan is still working but the oven is no longer heating up?? Thanks

Hello,
If the red light is coming on when you turn on the oven control then the thermostat is ok.You will need to remove the grids from inside the oven then remove the inside rear panel 4 screws, be carreful not to damage the thermostat as you remove the panel. When you have removed panel you will see the ring element, now remove the 3 screws holding in the element and gently pull it towards you, remove the 2 cables off element but do not let them fall into the back of cooker or you will have to remove the cooker and gain access to the rear of the cooker.Once you have element check with a multi-meter for continuity and replace if blown. Relacement is a reverse of removal.

Hope this helps.

Oven is not heating. Fan is working and grill wor...

Hello,
This would appear to be the ring element around the fan that has failed and will need to be replaced. You will need to power off unit, then remove the back panel inside oven 4 screws in corners,Be careful with Thermostat held in place by clips above or on back panel. You may find 3 or 4 screws holding ring element.Gently pull towards you, being careful that the cables come with it.Check element with multimeter to see if open circuit if its ok then it may be a thermostat fault. If it is a faulty element,

get your replacement element, remove the cables off old one and put onto new one. Then push back into place and refix all.

Hope this helps.

My omega europa oven is not heating up .grill fan

Sounds like a faulty fan oven element. To replace: Disconnect from power (usually easiest to switch off at fuse box). Remove racks etc from inside oven. Remove rear panel inside oven- four screws. You will now see a heating element that goes around the fan- often you see blow mark on element. You need to remove the back panel of oven to access the nuts that hold element in- two nuts, undo nuts, remove wiring from element. New element available from any good appliance repair shop. Reverse procedure to refit. Happy fixing!!

How do a change the element on a candy oven , can't get to the old element

You have to gain access to the element by removing the outer rear panel of oven, if it is built in, then this means removing it from the housing.
Once you have removed the cover, and possibly the top panel, you will see how the element is fitted.
It is a fairly straight forward repair to do.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.
