Need software to download so my Jazz JDC25F camera will work

Here's what I would try:
Plug it into the computer and treat it as an external hard drive. Look it up in Explore and copy what you want to the computer.

The answer is "yes" -- I went into a store carrying my Jazz and asked if I could open the package containing the SDHC card and try it in the Jazz. The clerk gave me permission, the Jazz worked, and, voila, I had my answer!

Through a little research I found that most Jazz Cameras come with Arcsoft Media Impressions, and Arcsoft Media Convert which can be downloaded at their website. There is a free version of the Impressions software.

You can download the driver from here:

Just register with the driversite or get a download link sent to your email.

Then unzip it to a folder. Go to Control Panel and do an Add New Hardware, and when prompted, choose the Let me choose the driver' option and navigate the Driver Installer to the folder you unzipped it to.
May have to reboot for it to finish the installation.

PS If you don't trust the driversite, you can always try putting the disk in the computer again, and then going to My Computer and right click on the disk and explore it. Then copy the files to a New Folder on your Desktop, then try installing it from there, in case it's a disk latency problem. Worth a try...

ok i had a garage sale this spring and i thought i threw the installation disk away with a number of web cams ect. that didnt sell. well apparently my mother grabbed the box of cams n disks and took it home .well in that box was my disk and she found it for me at her house.. so excellent work mom and my problems are solved .
heard of one mans garbage being anothers treasure but never thought my own garbage would fall into that catagory.haha

ps i never did find a driver online or any sort of support . its a good camera but it goes through the batteries pretty fast and if you lose your software its pretty much a paperweight.

You don't have to buy one.

Go to Power Search Tools and download the software.
www.powersearchtool.com

Once you have downloaded the software, you will see a symbol for your browser callled PST and to the right a symbol called POWER, click that tab, and enter the format of file you would like to download. I preffer adobe, it is the most common.
Oh, and don't forget to type in the search box Jazz DV - 179 manual.

May I know the following information about your problem-:

1.  What PC are you downloading to and what is the operating system on it e.g. Windows XP?

2.  What programs did you unistall?  The operating system of the Jazz 2.0 programs?

3.  What disc did you clean?  The Cd or the hard disk. 

4.  What did you use for cleaning the disk?

5.  Do you have antivirus software on your machine? 

Please answer quickly so that I can find a solution for yor problem.
