Aspire 4220 acer AMD sempron processor 3600+ sound driver

1 Start, Control panel, System
2 Device manager
3 select the device you want to update
4 click have disk, select folder where the driver is located

According to the AMD Processors Forum, (Forums.amd.com) the driver for the Processor and its inbuilt co-processor is - the nvidia chip set driver

Click on Notebook in the list of types then Aspire then Aspire 4220
Underneath the 4 'boxes' is a list of the drivers for the Aspire 4220 - the TOP one is the one you want. (You may already have it on a disk with your laptop, but didn't realise what it was...)
If not, there is a 'yellow' button next to the word chipset - click on this, and it should start downloading right away.
It is a Zip file, when downloaded - it needs to be Unzipped to get at the goodies inside. The file inside shoud be an 'exe' file, double clicking it should install the required drivers.

visit www. msi.com , select downloads tab , live updates then driver updates, u can see best driver for ur device

goto Control Panel and look for Sounds open Sounds and can you see any playback devices ? No, then you need the sound driver , http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_5100.html Regards
