When i turn on the console, it freezes before it even loads up the game(s) or dashboard. there are times when it runs through and lets me play a game but in the middle of the game the sound cuts out and at the end of the game it freezes. i have already tried changes the t.v. settings and the sound settings but i still get the same effect. please someone help fast, i just got a new game and i really want to play it.
The consoles warranty period was raised to 3 years after purchase so, you will not need to pay Microsoft to fix your console (you only pay shipping and handling).

This is a defective 360, very common, not an issue with the tv, microsoft would advise calling them and most likely paying them to fix the console, you may be better off buying an elite, they have fewer problems, there really isnt anyway to fix this, unless you happen to have the hardware and software to do so, not to mention knowing how to take it apart repair or replace whatever is causing the problem and then put it back together, the reason i will never own a standard 360 is just this, they break for no reason and quite often, my freinds have them and so do some of my coworkers, out of around 20 people i know that own them only one has an original that has not broken, its also played maybe once a month and even then its only on for maybe 2 hours, I recommend either replacing it with an elite, a ps3, or a wii, youll have far less problems, and just so you know if you dont already microsoft sucks for customer service, they expect you to pay for just about everything and usualy full retail prices, in the end i would be cheaper/easier to just buy another 360
