SOURCE: hoover steam vac clean surge

The recovery tank lid isn't locked down all of the way around. The foam filter on the inside of the tank lid is up too far, needs at leasat a 1/4 in gap from the top. The filter screen by thye indicator is clogged. Some have a duct that sits in front of the recovery tank, either it isn't there or not pushed down all of the way.

SOURCE: won't dispense cleaning solution

I had this same problem. There is a solution posted elsewhere on this website. Search for Hoover Floormate H3000.

The following solution is the one I tried: Remove the fluid dispensing tank and put a small dab of hot glue on the tip of the blue/greyish "plunger" piece that is located in the middle of the black rubber circle. Let the hot glue dry (this forms an extension to the plunger piece...) and replace the fluid tank.

I did this and my machine is working properly again! Whoever posted this solution was very helpful!

SOURCE: recovery tank not filling

The tank has an automatic shutoff float (red) that will stop the suction if the water level gets too high. this can also happen if the tank is not level or clean as the float can bounce around and jam at the top. I've actually had this one happen). I would make sure the float is down during the cleaning and see if the suction comes back. if not, please provide more details and we'll get 'er fixed!

The cleaning solution does not dispense

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.

There are a number of reasons why your unit doesn't spray water. It could be that the !) water tank is empty which you can fill heavy duty bladder with hot tap water. 2) If Formula tank is empty, you can fill it with Bissell 2x formula for cleaning. 3) If tank may not be seated properly, turn the power off, remove and reseat the tank. 4) If pump may have lost prime, try to turn off and then turn on the unit, wait for one minute and depress trigger. If still nothing happens, I suggest you contact Bissell 1-800-237-7691 for further assistance.

No cleaning formula or water is coming out of the dispenser. Any suggestions.

Just a thought, did you fill the dispenser or just the bladder inside the dispenser with water? The bladder inside is filled with water through the hole on the left side of tank. The waste water then goes in the tank around the bladder, a 2 in 1 deal.

If you have filled it correctly and are still having problems, please write back.

I hope this helps. If it does, please place a vote or comment for me. Thanks,

Handie Andie

I have a Bissell Pro Head 2X Steam Cleaner Model # 9300-C
The little plug at the bottom of the bad for clean water came apart and would not let water out now won’t hold it in.
Inside is a little propeller a spring a washer and a little black plug. Flat on one side and beveled on the other. We have tried to put it back in various selection and cant fix it please help ASAP liquid bladder will not release water.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Bissell 9500 ProHeat 2X Clean Shot Upright. On the little black plug – they do wear out and need to replace it but use a genuine Bissell part when replacing the part other wise a replacement may not work. Q. #2 the little propeller spring usually is part of the solution tank and it is wise to replace the part with a new or a good used tank from Bissell, so check with your local factory authorized vac dealer that carries and services Bissell. I will give you the Bissell factory phone # listed below for further questions. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
