Not familiar with this model but all cd tray's have a manual release mechanism, its usually a small hole on the front of the tray. I've found a paper clip unwound usually works fine. Push it in the small hole, you will feel it stop against something, push a little harder and the tray should open enough for you to manually pull it open.

Loader mechanism to your set has the fault. Contact the nearest authorised service center for Bose to rectify this fault. It will be very difficult to get the loader mechanism of Bose, from open electronic market.

Is there a way to open the lifestye 20 to manually release the cd that is stuck. Im not finding any screws

I'd suggest taking a look at this thread http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/1/154803.html
i.e.
"Turn the unit on. Pick it up from the right side and rest it on its left side in a vertical position. Gently tap the right side of the media console while hitting the eject button at the same time. I had to tap it hard before it would eject the cd cartridge, but it did come out with all CD's intact. I will try to pry it open and check the gear on the motor. I have had this Lifestyle 25 system for 8 years problem free before the CD cartridge got stuck, and Bose technical help told me how to get it unstuck. But they now want me to trade my system in for a new one. I'm not ready for that yet, I'll check the gear on the motor that Anonymous mentioned."

DVD is stuck in Bose lifestlye 48 media player

We had a power surge during a thunderstorm that dimmed our lights, and after that the CD opened as normal.

A friend suggested that I pull the power connector, press the open/close button and hold it down as I reconnected the power connector. The power surge beat me to that, so I don't know if it works. It was more than "Tech Support" could offer however.

Lifestyle 48 locked up

Just got off phone with Bose support with this very problem during install of a VS-2 software updtae to an older LS48 system. (Bose support personnel were very helpful on phone - and walked me through procedure to solve). I presume you unplugged and replugged power supply with no resolution. In that case, unplug power supply, wait 30 seconds and while holding down the "open/close button" and the "store" button (on media center) plug the power supply back in. Continue holding until the "Bose Lifestyle" message disappears. I presume this puts the system into a diagnostic mode, as the next steps in my case were to press and hold the "erase" button while scrolling through a menu of options using the "volume up" button. I believe it was the third "volume up" press that brought me to "FLASH" on the system screen. At that point I was told to release the "erase" button and press the enter button. The system rebooted and my VS-2 install went smoothly after that.
I'd recomend calling Bose support (800-905-2138) since your lockup occured during a CD load vs a software update (just to be on the safe side) - I was talking to a live tech support person in less than 15 seconds... a pleasant surprise.

Cd changer

Could be some dirt on mechanism. Try to open cover, remove disc and clean it. Unplug it from power first, of course!

Bose Lifestyle 30 6-cd changer magazine manual release?

hi, you can release the magazine by inserting a small flat head screwdriver in the slot and pushing the lever towards the back of the unit, this will release the cd but only if ther is not one stuck in the player as it will remain halfway between the mag and the cdplayer. don't force it to comae out. remember to obviously have the dorr to the player open before you try this.
