My husband bought me the 19" Xerox flat panel monitor model XG-92D for Xmas Dec 06. I see I'm having the same trouble as most of you. Mine started out having trouble when I'd turn it on. It flashed the greyish-white screen to black several times and I had to keep pushing the on/off button. It eventually worked, but now, I can't get the winxp screen at all. It does the exact same thing when it's not plugged into my pc. I called circuit city who told me to call xerox. They passed me off to tech support, who told me it must be a bad graphics card. I'm supposed to mail it back to them at my expense for them to repair it. I'm tempted just to throw it in the trash and buy a different brand monitor. Any of you get yours fixed? and what was the problem? Something I can try at home?
I have the same monitor and the same prob...White screen comes on when i start my comp...I turn the monitor off and on 100x and eventually it works...It was like this for like 2 months...Now it doesn't turn on at all. So get ready for that lol sorry. I suggest you get a new monitor and never buy xerox products again.

Always try with another monitor, before do nothing else. this reveal if the problem is the monitor. could be a cable problem( cutted inside),could be a backlight problem (it have a flourescent tube and a inverter that makes it "shine" ,or a supply problem what means it don't even work.these tree case are for the repairman.

I have two identical Xerox flat-panel monitors. One works fine. The other one started having the white screen issue a few months ago. Basically, when I first turned it on, it would come up with a white screen (sometimes with some gray stripes flickering), then eventually it would fix itself and work again. I ended up setting my power management to never turn the monitors off - I manually turn off the monitor that's behaving ok, but leave the other one on 24-7. This morning, though, I absolutely had to restart my computer, and even that little bit of "no signal" was enough to send the bad monitor into conniptions. It now won't come on at all - when I turn it on, there's a white screen, then it goes black for a second, then the white screen comes back, this time with a gray line down the middle. No matter how long I leave it, it will not come back on.
