10/100/1000 is the speeds that your lan card will handle, that does not mean that it is wireless yes you are correct in thinking it is integrated. to do wireless you must have a wireless modem or router and a wireless dongle that you will plug into the lan card on your pc. Those can be purchased at walmart as well. Hope this helps

Assuming that the driver in question is a LAN driver (for your high speed Ethernet port), then this would be the proper driver(s) for your machine:
http://support.gateway.com/us/en/emac/product/default.aspx?modelId=1574

choose LAN driver.
If this is a dialup internet connection, then you would have to get a driver from your modem manufacturer.

There is a software disc that all drivers are free gift from Emachines, provided that this CDs is still on your hands.
Use that Software Disc Utility to install unknown LAN or Ethernet Device in your Emachines Desktop.
If your don't have that Disc then you download that freeware LAN drivers to the website manufacturer of Acer Emachines.
Or maybe you don't finish yet installing all devices such as VGA, & etc...
