White Screen Reset problem!!!

I recently bought a sidekick 2 off of craigslist i was able to use it fine for one day then the next day i get a white screen that tells me to reboot pressing @-1-0 when i do that it acts like its going to reboot then it goes right back to that screen...i tried to stick a pin in the reset hole but the same problem still occurs...the white screen comes back...HELP!!!

    i have a sidekick ID n my screen jus went white the other day and i could lean it forward to fix it, but now its gotten worse to where i can't do anything to fix it...someone help us! lol

i heard that if you take the screen off and then put it back on it should work. you do this by unscrewing the 2 screws next to the screen.(use t6 screwdriver)

My screen is white but the rest is fine
So, my guess is you may have dropped you phone recently?

The sidekick lcd connector comes loose sometimes and causes the white screen.

Follow the guide at the link below and you can try to reseat it yourself.

Fix a White screen on the Sidekick 3


Failing that, you can buy a new screen and install it. They are like 30 dollars.

I am sorry to hear that the new sidekick 3 is not working for your son.

Is the screen white, blank, or just hard to see?

If white, then the flex cable needs to be reseated.

How to fix a blank white Screen on a Sidekick

If dark blank, then reseat the lcd assy itself and see if it works

Reseat the Sidekick 3 LCD Screen

If hard to see the screen, then the backlight is dead. A new screen is needed for that.

Replace the Sidekick 3 LCD Screen

You can try and reset the flex cable on the lcd.

follow these instructions.
Fix Sidekick White LCD Screen

If that doesnt work then a new lcd screen unit will.

Blank Screen???
Is it white or just black?

If it it is white then this procedure should fix it, Fix Sidekick White LCD Screen

if it is black then a new lcd is in order. They run about 45 dollars and fairly simple to install.

Sidekick 3 white screen
Did you by chance drop the phone recently?

A loose cable for the lcd can cause this or a bad lcd.

You need to disassemble it to take a look.

My sidekick 2 has a white screen and just keeps vibrating everytime i try to charge it, can someone help me
Mine did that too.... I just left it over night and then it took the charge the next day. Now I have a different problem... the phone says it is charging... the battery meter flashes 1, 2 and 3 bars like it is taking a charge but it's not... now it's dead and when I plug it in the red and green phone lights on the top and bottom of the scroll wheel flash really fast but no charging ??? HELP....
