I NEED A NEW LID, CAN I GET IT REPLASTED

I have found that 90% of canister Ice cream makers are modeled the same, I have had a Back to Basics, Rival and West Bend Ice cream makers and the lids are interchangeable.

A lot of companies don't make replacement parts so I usually go with the West Bend lid. The first thing you will want to do if find the brand on your Ice Cream maker (usually found on the motor/top) and see if the manufacture does make replacement parts for your machine. If they do not have parts available I would try the West Bend Ice Cream maker lid U66-2, like i said it is a pretty standard size and will fit most Ice Cream Canisters.

Here is a link to West Bends part page: IC10885 Ice Cream Maker

The lid is very inexpensive so even if it doesn't fit your not throwing away a lot of money.

Where can we acquire a new cover?

Unfortunately Rival doesn't make replacement parts available for their appliances. You can contact them directly at Sites rival products Site However I haven't ever been able to get replacement parts through them.

I have found the 90% of canister style Ice Cream makers have the same size lids. In the past I have purchase West Bends Ice Cream maker lid and it fits perfectly on both my Rival ice cream maker as well as my Back to Basics model.

Here is a link to the parts on West Bends site:

The lids is part number U66-2, and is only a couple of dollars from West Bend.

The problem is not with the machine. It is with me. I have lost the small recipe booklet thaat came with the machine. Where and how can I get a copy of that booklet. Is it still in print? I do not...

Hello, W/D here. I think I found you something even better. HB has on-line recipes for ice cream, and it appears that their list will fill more than a small booklet, so you'll get "bonus" recipes here!. Here's the link......enjoy!
