Video transfer from Panasonic SDR-H60

Is it possible to transfer my video from Panasonic SDR-H60 to my MAC?   It says that the camcorder is compatible with my  version of MAC on the box but i am having issues with it. Can you help?

If the write-protect has been set on the camera, then a brief perusal of the manual should enable you to choose the menu option for changing this. If the recording media has been finalised, then it is not possible to reverse this, as far as I know.

The camera works great with iMovie '09.
Connect the USB, choose Hard Drive on the camera, open iMovie '09, click the camera icon in iMovie, and away you go.
