I have a keurig b 60 brewer and i don't feel the water is hot enough. i just got it last night 12/23/10 can u suggest anything?

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

ProgrammingBrewTemperature (187°-192oF)
The Brewer brews at a preset temperature of 192°. You can adjust this temperature down by 5 degrees if you prefer a cooler cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa. Simply follow the instructions below.
1. Press the Menu Button on the LCD Control Center five times to program the Brew Temperature feature.
2. The LCD Control Center will now display the programming options with a small arrow next to "SET BREW TEMP" (fig. 15). Also, the temperature 192° (initial setting) will be displayed at the bottom of the LCD Control Center to indicate the current temperature setting.
3. A minus sign will appear over the Small Cup Button and/or a plus sign over the Large Mug Button. Use these buttons to raise or lower the temperature one degree at a time.
4. Once you have reached your desired brew temperature, press the Menu Button once to exit the programming mode. "BREW TEMP SET" will be displayed in the LCD Control Center if you have changed it from 192°.
5. To change the brew temperature again, repeat steps 1 through 3 to change the temperature up or down, remembering that the temperature can only be between 187° and 192°.

I tried to help you. Please help me and Rate/Vote on my response, thanks and good luck

Err:syntax when I try to graph with ''-'' on ti-84 plus

Hello,
The calculator has two minus signs
  1. The regular MINUS sign which is used with the subtraction operation. This operation is binary, requiring two operands (two terms). In a-b, a and be are the operands (they very specific names, but I will skip this detail).
  2. The negation or change sign. This operation is called unary, requiring one operand. -a means take the negative of the number a.
These are the technicalities, in which you may not be interested. On calculators, the two operations are implemented differently, with two signs, the regular minus sign -- , and the change sign (-) usually smaller in size than the regular -- sign and raised above the main line.

Examples. Let (-) be the negation and -- the regular minus.
  • If you enter (-) 12 the TI84Plus accepts it and calculates the negative of 12.
  • If you enter 12 (-) 13 the TI protests with a syntax error
  • If you enter 12 ( (-) 13) the calculator interprets it as 12* (-13) and calculates -156.
  • If you enter --12, the calculator displays Ans--12, where Ans is the last result calculated. If Ans happens to be 0, the new result is obviously the one you are expecting. But if Ans holds a non zero value, this is incorrect.
Suppose you have to calculate X^(-2)*X^(-1/3)
You can enter it exactly as it is written above. In this case, you must use the change sign (-) in both factors.
You can also decide to use the power rules and enter the expression as X^( -2 --1/3). In this case the first minus is the negation and the second is the regular minus.

I could go on with a few more examples, but that will take us away from your present concern.

In short.
  1. If the minus sign is the leftmost (first) symbol in your function (after the Y1=) you should use the negation. Any subsequent minus should be the regular minus --
  2. If the minus sign is the first symbol in an exponent, you must use the negation. Any subsequent minus in the expression of an exponent should be the regular minus --
I hope it did not bore you death with details you do not care to know about. I do hope that it will help you prevent this type of syntax errors.

Coffee maker shuts off too soon after brewing.

Hello FloydBob, The Cuisinart DCC-1200 has the ability to program the auto-off function that keeps your coffee warmer plate on after brewing is complete.

The unit lets you select the time increments from zero up to 4 hours.

See page 6 of the attached manual for the full instructions for reprogramming the coffee maker.

To program the Variable Auto Off:
1. Turn the FUNCTION KNOB to the “Auto Off”
position. Press and hold the “Hour” button
for 2 seconds. The clock display will start
blinking.
2. Program the coffeemaker to shut off from
zero to four hours after brew cycle is
finished by using the “Hour” and “Minute”
push-buttons.

I figured you might also like to have a complete instruction/owners manual so you can have access for any other questions you might have about your coffee maker, in the future.

I hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

Need assistance on how to program the timer for my cuisanart 12 cup coffee maker

1. Set the desired Brew-Start time.
a. Turn the FUNCTION KNOB to “Prog”.
b. Set the time you want coffee to begin
brewing by using the minute and hour
push-buttons. Follow the same instructions
you used to set the time of day, in
the To set the time section above.
2. Turn the FUNCTION knob to the “Auto On”
position. LCD will display the current time.
3. Lift and release the FLIP SWITCH. The
green indicator light will come on to remind
you that the programming function is in use.
At the programmed time, the red light will
come on as well, indicating that the brew
cycle is starting. Both lights will go off when
keep warm cycle ends.
NOTE: To reactivate the auto-on feature to
start brew cycle at the same time another day,
simply lift and release the FLIP SWITCH. The
green “auto-on” light will illuminate.
