Use the recovery partition on your MSI laptop to recover its original factory settings. Recovering your MSI laptop to its original factory settings will resolve problems with instability that you may be experiencing as a result of missing system files that were accidentally deleted. Recovering your MSI laptop to its original factory settings will also completely remove any viruses on your computer's hard drive that you were unable to remove with anti-virus software. Fortunately, you can wipe all of the information off your laptop's hard drive and start with a clean slate.

Turn on or restart your laptop. Press "F3" repeatedly when the MSI logo appears on the screen during the boot process to be redirected to the "Windows Boot Manager." Highlight "Windows Setup [EMS Enabled]" using the arrow keys on the keyboard. Press "Enter" to access the recovery partition on the hard drive of the MSI laptop. The "System Recovery Option" dialog box will appear on the screen. Click "MSI Recovery Manager." Click "OK" when a message appears on the screen notifying you that your computer will be restored to its original factory settings. Click "OK" when a message appears notifying you that the hard drive will be formatted to begin the recovery process. A dialog box with a status bar will appear to indicate how much time is left in the recovery process. Depending on the of your hard drive as well as how much personal data needs to be erased, the recovery process could take up to 45 minutes. Click "OK" when a dialog box appears on the screen indicating that the recovery process is complete. Your laptop will automatically restart and boot up to the Windows setup screen, where you can begin personalizing the settings for your Windows operating system. Hope this helps.

How fo i Factory reset my msi gx630 laptop

If it is Windows 8 and mean resetting the operating system you can use the built in refresh feature of Windows 8. Go to control panel > open Recovery. At the bottom there is a link which reads 'If you are experiencing problems with your PC, you can refresh it in PC settings'. Click on it to open PC Settings recovery options. You can use the topmost option 'Refresh your PC without affecting your files' to keep folders like My Documents intact. Or 'Remove everything and reinstall Windows', this will delete everything and do a full reinstall. It should use the recovery drive available on your laptop to restore to factory defaults.

Motherboard msi 7610 ver 2.1

To reset the motherboard: set the dipswitches at OC_SW1 to ON-OFF-ON, then clear the CMOS Ram by setting the jumper at JBAT1 to pins 2&3 while the power is OFF. Wait fifeteen seconds,Then return the jumper to pins 1&2 and turn the power on. This will re-set you to the factory defaults. You will need to enter the BIOS and re-configure your hard disk. Msi ge620 webcam

I think your problem may be that the camera might truly be running already in the background. Have you tried rebooting and see what happens then? Maybe the camera software has it set to start up when the computer is booted.

You can always download Manycam and install it. Go towww.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When thesite opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says FindSoftware. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the whitesearch area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your resultslook for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it andinstall it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs itwould like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additionswhatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,and you will always know where your webcam software is.

I cannot factor restore my msi l1350d as the environment is stable. what does that mean

hi

it refers to factory resetting . because the system is running acceptably well, it does not require factory restoration (format and re isntalling operating system to origonal setting when it was purchased.) Is there a reason why you wish to restory factory settings ? i strongly suggest you creat boot CD set before you do anything like this .

My msi u100 notebook when i turn it on it says open windows in safe mode then starts opening then goes back to same screen...open windows in safe mode and wont do anything else?

Hello my friend, this is looks like the windows is corrupted and your windows cannot boot ,maybe this is caused by a virus, you can try reinstalling the windows but i don't recommend it if its a virus problem.I recommend you formatting your computer or restore your laptop to factory settings. The last one it depends on laptop some have special restore partitions on the hard drive, usually you press alt+F10,F10,F11 or F12 after powering on the laptop, and it goes into a restore program that wipes your drive and returns the laptop back to the way it was when you first purchased it.
Note all your programs and data will be deleted if you restore the computer.
