Changing the clock time

To change the time display on your Viking oven from military time to standard time, follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the "Clock" button on the control panel until the time display starts flashing.
2. Press the "Plus" or "Minus" buttons to adjust the time to the correct standard time.
3. Press the "Clock" button again to save the changes and exit the time-setting mode.

Regarding the codes that appear when you press and hold the "Clock" button, these are called diagnostic codes and are used to troubleshoot problems with the oven. Step 1 Locate the "Clock" button on the display. The display is located above the oven door. It clearly shows the time and has settings for temperature, time and cooking.
Step 2 Press and hold the "Clock" button until the time starts to blink.
Step 3 Set the time with the number pad. Ignore the colons and enter the number straight through. For example, if the current time is 10:08, just type 1-0-0-8.
Step 4 Set AM and PM by pressing the "#" button. Press "Start" to finish.

Touch TIME then the display will begin flashing timer
Use rotary knob to change this to CLOCK
Touch TIME again and it will say ENTER TIME with the time flashing
Use the rotary knob to change the time as required
Touch START and the time is now changed

There should be a clock button or a picure of a clock. It will flash when you press it indidcating you can now change the time. Change the time but entering the time or pressing an arrow up or down until you get the time desired.

Set the clock by following these steps: a). Touch TIME pad. b). Turn rotary knob clockwise until CLOCK appears. c). Touch TIME pad. d). Turn rotary knob in either direction. The time displayed will change in 10-minute increments and indicate AM or PM. Turn the knob in the opposite direction and the display will change in one-minute increments. e). Touch TIME pad. The clock is now set. in some units there is button instead of knob in that case the clock indicating button has to be pressed . This will help. Push and hold clock botton, until display changes, then use the scroll controls to change numbers, then when the time it's correct, press clock again to enter settings

Turn the knob to the left until a tone is heard and "time" appears in the display window. The previously set time will appear in the display window.

Continue turning the time knob in either direction until the correct time of day appears in the display window

Press the START button to begin clock operation
