I recently bought me one of those neat H500 headsets, brought it home, paired it with my SLVR L7c, used it that night and everything worked fine. Woke up the next day with both devices fully charged and tried using my headset and after it said "Connected" exactly 5 seconds later it says "Disconnected". I tried making a call with the phone and transferring the call to the headset. When I did this it said "Blootooth Signal Weak: Use Handset?". I tried just laying the headset directly on top of the phone and it still said this. I've only had the headset for 1 day! HELP!!!
That could mean your headset is not charging. make sure the light is doing what it is supposed to when charging. you probably have a defective charger. happened to me. you could try pairing it with another phone to see how long it lasts. I found the Moto HS850 to be the only good, reliable one.

You need to put your H500 into "pairing mode" by pressing the call button until the light turns steady blue, instead of blinking. Your droid will then see it when you are in the Bluetooth Settings screen under Networks & Wireless. I just did this myself last night and it worked fine. Be forewarned, however, that you cannot voice-dial with your bluetooth - only answer calls. There are several forums out there that are bashing Motorola & Google for not having this basic functionality.
I had no problems pairing H500 with my BBerry Curve, but I did have download installation instructions to ensure I had the H500 set up correctly- must have continuous blue light before starting to pair. I enable the BBerry Bluetooth and selected find and there it was. Put in passcode 0000 and it connected just fine.
Turn off your earpiece. Then turn it back on but hold the button until the blue light comes on and stays on.(that puts it in discovery mode) Now go to bluetooth devices in you r phone and search for the device.
