In the last few months when the receiver is in standby mode, i cant seem to get it to turn on (i.e. pressing video or audio doesnt do anything). i have to unplug it from the back, turn off the surge protector and let it sit for 30mins to 1hr. after that it usually works again. thoughts, suggestions, advice? thx.
Make sure the trigger switch in the back did not get switched to trigger, if thats o.k. it may have 2 regulators 2 5.1 zener diode and a capacitor or 2 deffective on the board in the regulator circuit. I have yet to see any bad outputs in a Nad T752, but I have only worked on three so far. Larry James
Had the same problem on a NAD T752 that would stay stuck in standby mode, then when I read this post from Larry Stiles, it checked the trigger switch and lo and behold it had been changed from off to Auto. Turned it back off and bingo, it works again! Thanks Larry, I have been looking for this problem for the past 2 weeks dissassembling the whole thing! Thanks again!

To do the reset you need to turn the receiver on, then on the front panel of the receiver press and hold the "VCR/DVR" button while doing that press the "STANDBY/ON" button. You will see the word "Clear" in the display screen and the receiver will go into standby mode. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR AUDIO & VIDEO ASSIGNMENTS ON THE RECEIVER PLUS YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR SPEAKER CONFIGURATIONS, SPEAKER DISTANCE AND ALL LEVEL CALIBRATION SETTINGS. YOU WILL ALSO LOSE ANY PROGRAMMED RADIO STATIONS IN MEMORY. Once the receiver goes into standby mode turn it back on and go thru the setup menu for all custom settings.
