We lost the remote for the TV. I have gotten an universal remote but we cannot access the "game" channel, which means we can't see a DVD movie or play the PS2. When I am in setup, I can adjust the 'game' channel (but I hear so sound in this setup). Can someone please tell me what to do so that my kid can watch movies and play his games?

since most of the disney TVs are manufactured by memorex company ..... from your universal remote control's manual check the codes for memorex brand & try it .... if you don't have manual for your universal remote then from this link http://www.remotecentral.com/features/remotes.htm identify your universal remote & in that check codes for memorex brand & try it .... while searching answer for your question i have found that many people have same problem that is code for universal remote ..... but they never got right answer ......... & also neither same original remote control nor equivalent remote control is available (spare ) ...... so in case if you don't get right code then consider selling of this TV & buying new tv ...........
A universal remote should solve your problem. You should be able to find one on ebay. You may even be able to find one for your particular TV on ebay as well.
The solution is to change the audio input from SAP (secondary audio programming - default on TV sets sold in Canada) to Stereo or Mono. Your remote will need to be able to access the "Menu" settings screen for your television set.
I Believe You Can Go To Channel 2 And Right Below Those Channels Are The 3 Video Channels Turn On Your Dvd Player And Go Through Them. If That Doesn't Work Try Looking At The Buttons On Your Tv For A Tv Video. Make Sure You Dont Have A Tv Video Button On Your Remote If You Do Then Just Click It Till You Find The Appropriate Video Channel.
Try a RCA universal remote with an input button. Try the codes for Orion , Sansui and RCA. Access the menu by holding down both volume buttons on the front of the set. There is no access to the jacks on the front of the set without a remote. If all else fails get a RF Modulator. This will allow you to watch your dvd by using the antenna jack on the back of the set.
You need the original remote controller to be able to switch input modes.Universal ones usually don't work. If you don't have the original remote and can't find it ever or if it is too expensive you can buy an rf modulator ( very cheap) and connect your dvd player, game console etc) to the modulator then connect the modulator to your antenna with a coax cable. This worked for me. It placed the connection to channel 4 and other cable channels are still working,
You can buy the RF Modulator from: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180299245670
