Toner not sticking to paper

When I print a page which requires a large amount of toner it does not stick tot he paper it simply rubs off and gets all messy on the page. Often leads to a jam at the fuser. I have done a total of only 30,000 pages.

If the toner rubs off the paper then the fuser unit is probably faulty. The fuser heats the toner/paper and fuses the toner to the paper.

SOURCE: Paper jam 2 fuser

1. Faulty/blocked fuser exit sensor or faulty/blocked POB sensor. The printer thinks paper is present at one of these sensors when there should not be paper present. Verify that the fuser exit sensor is not stuck Verify operation of the POB sensor If both sensors are working correctly, the most likely cause is the POB sensor is being blocked by the transfer unit. This can happen if the sensor is out of position, or if the transfer unit's white plastic baffle is out of position. Try bending the POB sensor bracket outward slightly to clear the baffle and retest

SOURCE: Phaser 7700GX Color Printer prints wrinkled pages!

when this occurs the problem is most of the time with the transport roller, fuser / fixing assembly roller.question is the image still toner only and not fused to the paper.
In these areas there is offen a jammed and not removed piece of paper dislodged in the paper path or jammed in the fuser or the transfer rollers teflon coating has perished inspect the areas carefully and remove any found if the unit still is faulty (fanning of paper the fuser would be the first to be replaced are past there usable life) if so then Post a reply

HOW TO GET GOOD QUALITY NON-ERASABLE PRINT IN CANON 2900 LBP PRINTER

That sounds like the fuser is not working and failing to 'fuse' the toner to the paper.

What is the amount of magnetic Powder to be developed in the Fuser Section?

None. It is electrostatic attraction.
It varies from each type of laser printer.
Most printers will specify a total number of pages printed from a laser toner cartridge rather than give an actual amount of toner per page. Which I feel would be more likely to be an average value.
Due to the amount of toner being used per page varying on the number of actual pixels that are required - a black dot or a color dot. If a colour dot is required Three toner colors may be involved to get the color required. Where there is a white dot no toner is required.
It really depends on what image is being rendered onto the paper on each different page image print onto the paper.
Color photos use more toner as more of the page is color than when using black and white !

HP m410n laserjet pro banding gray vertical lines

the two places to look is transfer roller and the fuser unnit.
i think there is a problem with the transfer roller it is under the toner and it needs to be spring loaded. The paper passes between the toner an the transfer roller to charge the paper en let the toner stick to the paper and if it doesn't make correct contact then it wont work

I have a hp 4L laser printer when printing some of the [rint on the page is fine but there are areas that are faded bafly unable to read this does this even with a new toner-what can I doto fix this...

If its a laser printer you prob have a fusing issue. Its the part that actually heats the toner with fuser agent (light coat of oil) to make it stick to the paper and not smear. Either your fuser module is in need of replacing or you have something rubbing on the portion where the toner meets the paper. Chances are its the fuser module.

Toner low

The toner is dry ink that sticks to the paper, and then gets melted into the paper. When the cartridge that holds the toner starts to run out, then the "low toner" condition occurs.

Keep using the printer until the toner-cartridge is empty, and your printed pages come out as "blank". Then, replace (or refill).

Ghost printing

Hello,

You have a worn image drum. The drum is the part of the printer that the print image is created on before it transfers the toner to the paper. This part is coated with a very thin layer of Teflon so the toner does not stick. When it gets worn the toner starts to stick and that produces the shadow or ghost image approximately 3 inches down the page because the diameter of the drum roller is 3 inches. You will need to get the part DR-350, Office Depot has them as well as many places on the internet.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

Black smudge streaks on rightside of printed/copied material

Can only be two things the drum or the fuser. More than likely drum they last about 4 toners i think.

Learn the art of getting a page to stop halfway threw printing, you want to stop the page after the drum has put a image on the paper but before paper has gone threw the fuser (hotbit).

Once you have mastered the position correctly by stopping the printing by opening the door and removing drum/toner cartridge, to reveal the paper that is printed but can be rubbed off, we will know if marks are coming from the drum (you will see them) or from the fuser, if print is fine.

Large grey streak down center of page

It is the fuser at rear giving you grief! The upper heat roller has a teflon coating that wears away allowing toner to stick to roller and smudgin prints as they pass threw it. The fix is to replace fuser assembly, take to brother dealer to fix.

You can prove it to yourself by timing the print to stop mid way threw machine then remove print cartridge and look at paper, you should see a image is good untill it hits the fuser,( pre fused image "rubs off" paper.) If you have changed drum and toner thats all it can be. They all do it in time.

Fuser is hot bit at rear, pull out drum and look in the back with a small torch you will see upper heat roller is worn, guestimation $90 for fuser plus labour to fit.
