I am having problems with setting up my printer (Epson TX710W) to run remotely from my router. When I attempt to setup the router it wants me to use it for internet connection but I am running my internet...
Hi Robert_fl657,
For any printer to run on the network (wired or wiireless), aside from just a router, you will need a print server. Now, since this printer has wireless capabilities, i am going to assume that you might have a wireless prinet server built in (WPS). If your wireless router does not have that function, i suggest you buy a wireless print server to accomodate the printer that you would want to hook up.
Possible Solution 1: Sync wireless printer with WPS button on wireless router
1. Try and locate the WPS button (if any) on the wireless router.
2. Once located, go to the network options on the wireless printer and select set up by WPS.
3. Once you have selected that option, the printer should be in a seeking mode. Select and hold the WPS Button down on the wireless router.
4. If all goes well, you should have established connectivity with the wireless router.
I hope the above information helped. Please do let me know if there are other queires regarding this. Also, pls remeber to vote for me if you find this solution useful. Thank you.
