HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!! hi! my prob is that i downloaded and installed the latest NVIDIA driver for my AGP which's the same.... screen's all messed up... cant change resolution back to normal or anything :S PLEASE HELP ME with a SOLUTION ASAP! i cant fix with anything here yet... and cant rollback to original driver because i dont have a backup of the driver :S P.S. would it be worth changing the fan included? i have the Red version.... forgot model number... but one of you surely knows what im talking about! tc THANKS PEOPLE! :-)

You can boot up in safe mode and uninstall the driver. Or you can boot up in vga mode using the F8 key at bootup. Or you can reinstall your copy of windows and choose the repair option.

You need to go back to Nvidia's and download the correct driver/software . Pay attention to the OS .

Trouble building a pc
Hi,
I have installed a nvidia cd installer to my unit and I found out that the latest cd (nvidia installer) the lots of driver installed in it, means it has the old nvidia driver to the latest nvidia driver and automatically detect the kind of driver needed to your cp. Better if you have a cd installer for that.

The 7600 gt can work on an agp 4x motherboard only in a 4x bus speed, if your just using the cd driver that comes with the video card try updating it by downloading the latest driver in www.nvidia.com, first uninstall the driver then restart the computer then install the latest driver you downloaded

Nvidia Geforce FX5200 128mb DDR AGP 8x
Hi, since you mentioned you installed an MSI card & it worked well. I can assume you changed the bios & to boot to the AGP rather than the Integrated 3D video. This is good. Notice the message you got from Nvivia. It could not locate any compatible drivers. This can indacates 1 of 4 reasons.
1. The 5200 was not completely incerted into the AGP slot.
2. The AGP slot is dirty & needs cleaned.
3. Nvidia software was installed but previouse graphics software was not removed (un-installed) before the installation of the nvidia software.
4.The card is bad.
Suggest you download the latest driver software from Nvidia.
