Radiator/Condensor Fan. Which is Which?

I wrecked my 95 Honda accord-4 dr,v6. The AC does not work, My problem is, I do not know which fan is Radiator, and Which is A/C Condensor Fan? One was damaged, If it was the condensor fan, I would not have to replace it since the A/C didn't work any way, Could you tell me if the Plastic Shroud- 5 Blade Fan, is on the Radiator or Condensor Fan? One shroud is a very heavy metal- 4 Blade,Impossible to straighten. I have the Haynes manual, But can't make out which is which Could anyone look on their radiator and tell me if the Radiator fan is on the Passenger or driver side. I would really appreciate it.
Thank You,
Candace

Why won't my cooling fan turn on (swapped thermostat, thermoswitch, fan really)(fans work when hard wired to battery). Causes car to overheat in idle.

depending on the year, there should be 3 relays that control the fans.
There's a rad fan relay (4 pins), an a/c condensor fan relay (4 pins), and a fan control relay (5 pins). This allows them to be run at low speed or high speed. Check the grounds behind/under the righthand headlamp.
Check Fuses 57, 58 (30 Amps) and fuse 46 (15A) under the hood, and fuse 3 (7.5 Amps) in the driver's underdash fusebox.

1992 honda accord radio and ac stopped working

Make sure your fan is working properly. When you turn on the heater you are forcing the fan to cool the radiator. It may not be turning on automatically when it is supposed to. Let us know if this helps..

2005 chevy equinox do my radiator and condensor

Hello: You may have a cooling fan(s) problem. Start the truck, turn the a/c on max, both fan and a/c control. Open hood the cooling fan(s) should be running. If not then you will need hands on trouble shooting. It could be fan(s) motor(s), relays, relay control, ie PCM, wiring, fuse etc. Systematic hands 0n trouble shooting will be needed with a upscale scan tool.

Jump air compressor ac works replace relays same issue HONDA

the compressor may be low on freopn but, the fan problem is most likely the fan motor as it is the low temp fan and will run more often than both fans...to test see if you can switch the fan plugin to the other fan watch carefully that it does not get too hot as the second fan is a safety fan that works as high temp or when using the A\C

REPLACED MOTOR AND STILL OVERHEATING WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? CAR HAS NEW RADIATOR

Did you replace the fan? How about the fan switch?

Here is some stuff to read about this system....please let me know what's up!

This switch is the primary controller of the operation of the radiator fan(s) used for cooling. When the coolant in the system reaches a pre-determined temperature, the fan switch closes and completes a circuit. The fans will be brought on. Generally, the switch communicates with the fan relay, although the later PGM-FI cars send the signal through one of the many solid-state controllers first. Do not assume that the switch is the only component in the radiator fan circuit which controls its operation. There are many other components whose failure may prevent the radiator fan from operating. If the fans are not working when the engine is very warm, check the fuses first.
On all vehicles except 1990-95 Accords and 1992-95 Preludes, the fan switch is located in the bottom of the radiator. On 1990-95 Accords (except V-6) and 1992-95 Preludes, the switch is located in the housing at the rear end of the coolant connecting pipe. This is the pipe running along the outside of the engine, just above the oil filter. The switch the only electrical component in the housing. On the Accord V-6, it threaded into the side of the coolant crossover pipe (not next to the bleed bolt) on the transaxle side of the engine.

Trying to replace the ac condenser fan on a 92 honda accord. How do you get to the bottom bolt??

You will have to remove the lower splash pan (plastic thing that goes across the entire front underneath, not hard to remove) from under the radiator in order to get at the lower fan bolts. The condenser fan shroud had a single lower retaining bolt; the radiator fan shroud has two.
Hope this is helpful.

The AC in my 2004 Honda Accord only blows cool air when I am driving at higher speeds. When I drive slow or am stopped, it's warm hair coming out. My mechanic said the compressor isn't working properly...

it is a premature failure, That does indicate a bad/failiing compressor, or low oil charge, to low freon. If you trust the mechanic then go witht he compressor replacement and condensor. Unfortunately most oarts stores/shops require the condesor to be replaced for warranty purposes on compressor replacements.

Cooling fan only comes on when the AC is on. Have checked relays and fuse.

there are 2 fans 1 for the ac that only comes on when the ac is on thats normal.and the radiator fan that comes on when it reaches 160' to 180'degrees only on electric fans.u might have to reposition the wires on the fan.
