Never had this issue, but it's simple enought o fix granted that the patch is on the site, just go to garmin.com, click on support, then updates/downloads, then click on unit software. Yours sounds like it needs you to click on map software. Just connect you GPS to you computer via usb connection. Your gps should have came with a usb cord to connect from the gps to the computer. If you have windows 2000, xp or higher, it should probably self install itself.

How do I fix my Garmin Street Pilot, which has newly updated maps and a 4GB sand disk, to respond to my clicking on ADDRESSES with something more helpful than NO DATA AVAILABLE?

Chances are you have the wrong region installed. try updating again and check which region was installed. Also, I'm surprised because the Street Pilot series is no longer able to get the latest map updates. I've heard that you can sometimes get a trade in value if you call Garmin Support at 1800-800-1020

Garmin nuvi 200 problems- I press streets icon ----it comes up (NO DATA AVAILABLE).

Make sure that your map is enabled with a check mark on the map info screen. If the map info button is grayed out, then this means that your map is missing.
