Question about Brother MFC 420CN All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have a an error message flashing on the printer "Ink Empty Yellow". This cartridge appears to be 3/4 full and probably placed. Replacing the cartridge did not change the error message. Also, all other buttons including the power button are not working. Any solutions out there?
The mechanism on the cariage is faulty. It cannot be repaired by you the user.

Unplug your printer from the computer and then the power supply. Remove the inks from the printer. Plug the printer back into the computer first then connect the power supply. Install the inks "very slowly" one by one and then check the levels, they should now read full. Thank you, Dana
