Did you put the battery back in? Just checking. This sometimes happens with the PSP's. The charger it's self looses the ground. Try plugging in a car charger, or use a charger that will charge the battery out of the PSP.
Have you tried to remove the battery and put it back in and try to turn it on. Try removing the battery and putting the charger in and starting the PSP. If it starts, it might be the battery. If it doesn't, it's either the plugin for the charger or the PSP is just dead. If it does start with the charger, try putting the battery back in, if it charges awesome. If it doesn't the battery might be dead.
It sounds like you have either a dead (broken) battery or your battery isn't making good contact with the motherboard.
Remove your battery and make sure there is nothing stuck in the terminal slots. Also make sure the metal contacts in the batter chamber of the PSP are clean. Then replace the battery.
Give it a little extra push on the back of the battery after you put it in near the battery terminals to make sure you get a solid connection.
If it still doesn't work then you may have a bad battery and will have to replace it. They can be found on ebay fairly cheap. (dont buy the $3 ones though they last about 10 minutes.)
Probably, either the battery or the charger is busted. Try borrowing a friend's PSP charger and plug it in. The power led of the PSP should turn orange when charging. If it still does not charge, you might need to replace the battery.
does the green ligth stay on without the charger, it maybe bricked, and it may need files to fix the problem! or could be battery but the psp should start with the charger on
it is shot. a quick test is try another psp and charge it with that one.if it does charge then it is your psp and your psp might be fried.if the battery doesn't charge then try another known woking battery.if you got any more qeustions email me at [email protected]
How old is your battery? You may want to think about buying a new one as it may be on it's way out. Even if it is fairly new you might have a lemon of a battery. It happens at times. IF your psp is new and your battery is doing this you should contact sony and see if they can replace your battery for free or a nominal charge.
im not so sure about your b\problem but you should take out the battery plug in the charger and just turn it on it will work if not its not the bsttery but ac adaptor slot that is not working
this is easy i solved it! buy a charger from gamestop that you have to take the battery out and then put it in the charger and charge it that way! that way if your fuse inside your psp is out it will charge the battey without putting it in the psp so all you do with the item is: take your battery out, put it in the alternative charger from gamestop (does not come with psp slim 2001 or 2000) plug the charger in the while charge the battery then bam!! there you go problem solved have a fun time playing your psp!
