Voice mail transfer - retrieval

Hi, the prompts on the Samsung DCS Voice Mail ask you to press 2 when you have recorded your message, this actually deletes the message, you have to press the # key to save. I am assuming that this is a message and not a Voice Mail that you are having problems with on your softkey. You need to have a MSG key programmed for in-house messages or a VMMSG key for Voice mail, to check this dial TRANSFER 107 and use your volume keys to check how the softkeys are set-up. To re-program these I have posted you a training video. There are other videos on Youtube search 'abbeytel' or by following the link to www.abbeytelecom.com.

to change your password for your mailbox on your Voice Mail, dial into your Voice Mail, enter your password then press # , this takes you into personal services, the prompts will talk you through changing passwords etc for Voice Mail. hi if you press your Voice Mail button on your handset a number will flash on the screen (i.e. 519) this is your VM number, with the handset down dial 602 followed by that VM number. Hi, to change your Voice Mail greeting press your Voice-Mail key, enter your passcode, press 0 , 5 , 7 listen to your greeting, press 3 to delete and re-record your message. when you have done this press the # key to save. I have sent you a Voice Mail training video, i have over 65 others like it giving help and advise on the Samsung DCS.

What lights are on the voice mail card? There should be 3 on the lower edge of the card.

I would need to know what group your lines are ringing in to.(Look at the phone display on any ringing phone and it will tell you the "ringing group" probably 500, 501 etc.) With that known we can add all three stations to that group and mark the "NEXT" option to go to station 202. Just have 202 forwarded to voice mail on a NO ANSWER condition and it will work for you

What worked for me was to call my phone from another phone and leave myself a voicemail. I then went in and retrieved and deleted that voicemail. Once I hung up from my voicemail service my handsets reset about 10 seconds later.
