PO cont means Drum Potential Control,
If po cont set to 0, it means scanner system adjust the document darkness automatically but you may face many printing problems such like auomaically over dark, over light, heizzy, dull, etc etc.
if you want to trouble free printing, please set PO-Cont to 1
clean the optical system i.e.first mirror,second mirror,reflector,lens etc to get dark copies.
checklife of photoconductor drum if it is over replace the drum.
Hi Tom, The error code means that you have a problem with the fuser unit. It means the fuser is not warming up correctly. I would say that you need a new fuser lamp.. It most likely looks like a candy cane. You canfind it on the web. But, that is a very, very,very old copier. I was factory trained on it 20 years ago. It may not be worth repairing. It takes alot of work & taking the copier half apart & hope you get it back togather right... Good Luck
