Question about Blenders
I recently got this blender as a gift and only used it a few times before it stopped working. i went to use it and i filled the blender about 1/3 full and pressed the blend button. the button lit up like it has the other times i used it but it didnt blend. the blender didnt make any noise like the motor was running at all. i tried several different outlets and none worked. i was hoping to get a hold of the manual before trying to return the blender.
SOURCE: received the Breville Ikon 600
My IKON 600 Blender fuse had blown. It was located on the circuit board and can be found by removing the bottom of the blender. Fuse is Fast Blow 10A, metric 5mmx20mm. The fuse blew because the bearing in the bse of the jar froze. Bearing # 608-RS. The beraring froze because the seal in the base of the jar was leaking. Solution: Clean seak surfaces, replace bearing and fuse. Total cost of $6 with my labor.

Important: This blender has an intelligent system that
automatically shuts off the appliance after 2 minutes
for speeds 1 to 18 and after 20 seconds for the PULSE
and CRUSH functions. If this occurs, the LED display
shows "EE"; unplug the unit and wait 30 seconds.
