Question about Kyocera FS-1118 Printer

Kyocera FS1118 mfp gives error code CF 040 after start up

Machine gives error code after about a second or two after saying ready to copy. Its not the mail board i already replaced it with one that i know works 100%. Any ideas? I think it could be engine board but not sure....

Please try and check the polygon motor and connector cable of the Laser scanner.If none, replace the engine PWB board.

c4000 polygon motor sychronize error, try to cleaning polygon, if not effective, need to replace new polygon.

Error code u2-10 on a sharp mx2700n photocopier
U2-10 SRAM user authentication index check sum error. I know, gibberrish right? To clear this error, put the machine in "simulation mode" by pressing "c" "*" "p" "*". then type 16, press the copy button, then press "execute" then press "yes". Hit the "ca" button to go back to ready. This should clear the error code. If the code returns, then the PCU PWB board needs to be replaced. I hope this helps.

MW512 filling in spurts then goes to error.

this is a nvram error code most likely the nvram board will have to be replaced and konica minolta has made the procedure for obtaining this board very hard so i am sure the copier repair company you are using is aware of the cause but ti is going to take some time to get the part that is needed to fix the problem. the reason for the procedure and paper work to get this board is all the counts and settings for the machine is stored on this board and some lets just say dishonest copier repair companys could but a used 250 with a lot of copies on it and replace this board then sell it as a new machine.

ERROR C0500 FOR DIALTA DI350
To clear this code, you will need a paper clip, stick th paper clip in the small hole on the right side of the control panel, (machine must e on) When you do that the control panel wll say please wait, then the screen will show a small blue dot for a few seconds on the left side of the screen, when you see that press 3 you will see a screen the say Maintenace Mode, touch then hit "Trouble Reset" it will again say please wait, then you will see the dot again let it go do nothing it will go thru to Ready to Copy. If The code comes back you need a new fuser unit

forget the laser unit your developer is shot... machine cant detect vsp and vsg... therefore gives a laser error... replace developer run developer initialization in sp mode copy sp drum... should solve the problem

Go into maint. mode.
With-in 2 seconds hit Menu,*,2,8,6,4
Then hit 82 when in maint mode.
This will give you a machine error code.

The start button won't turn green when power turned on.
if the machine needs toner you will be able to change paper size & reduction but the machine will not come to ready[green ready light lit]. so if the machine keeps running after you turn it on it needs toner. if you leave it on for lets say 15 min. does it give you an add toner light or an error code?
