Visor will Not Turn On

A friend gave me a hand-me-down Visor, one of a pair of used ones that a friend had given her. I don't have all the details, but she said it was running, then went blank. She tried resetting it with a paper clip, and it stayed blank. I have not been able to get it to turn on, either. I've tried both a hard and a soft reset. It has a square battery at the top of the case. This is different from an online manual, which shows a pair of AAA batteries being used. I don't know if the square one is rechargeable. It says "InnoPak/2V". I left it in the cradle plugged in overnight, still won't turn on. Contrast button area does not do anything.

I have a Visor Platinum that has started doing the same.  In my case, two things have helped in the past.  (1) Mine has a built-in lithium battery pack.  The first time the problem happened -- the battery was dead -- I cleaned its contacts and where it mates into the PDA with some rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab and recharged.  (2) Second time it crashed, the problem was with one of the programs that I had installed (some freeware).  The program would cause the PDA to hang during and alarm and make it stay ON till the battery ran down too far.  Solution was to not install the add ons.  To wake the PDA the second time, I placed it on the charger for a minute, took it off and immediately tried the different resets.  Tried the entire process 10-15 times and finally managed to wake up the PDA.  Once awake, let it finish charging before you do anything.  It might prompt you to set the date/time etc, but just wait till it is done charging otherwise it will go back into its coma.

I have lost the user guide for my hands free super tooth visor go R60. How do I get it into pairing mode?

Hold the green button down for about 5-10 seconds until the light flashes blue and red alternatively. When it does this it means the device is ready for pairing mode. On your phone, on the bluetooth setting, set yoru phone to be discoverable. It should find the visor and if it ask for a passcode enter 0000 (four zeroes). this should do it.

hope this helps.

Couldn't get them to pair... then tried this: On the VM-605, Press the FM key (left hand side) and the Volume key Right Hand side for 4 seconds. After 4 seconds the the VM-605 says "In Pairing Mode", you can there search for the device on your Blackberry in Blurtooth mode and it will allow you to pair using the default key of 4 x zeros

I have lost my instructions for my Supertooth Visor Go Model No. BHSTLGO and I need to pair it with my new mobile phone?

With the Supertooth switched off, press and hold (for 5 secs) the on/accept button. The lights will flash intermittently.
Then set your mobile phone to search for pairing on Bluetooth. When asked for a code type 0000 (4x zero)
Then the set will be paired.

I have just been given one for christmas and have just done it with my iPhone. Easy as peasy !!

Turn on the bluetooth

Turn the bluetooth car kit off, by pressing the MFB for some seconds. Now, press and hold the MFB until the blue and red leds blink simultaneously. Then, if your phone's bluetooth radio is off, turn it on, and make it search for other devices (check your phone's user manual for further details). When the Visor Drive is shown, select it to be paired, and if a pairing code is requested, enter '0000'.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos
