How to find source for model WS-28W63N without the remote control

We do not have the remote control for this TV so cannou use the source button to find the HDMI input for our new HD SkyBox

Sometimes you can unplug the hdmi cable and power off the tv and unplug power to tv wait 10 sec plug tv back in and then insert hdmi cable. Some of the newer tvs will auto tune to the input if that dont work, try getting a universal remote program the remote to control tv if you can control tv volume, power , menu then you should be able to navigate to the input menu and select hdmi that way

Refer to your dealer about this situation, hence there is no problem with your remote control. If some buttons are working others not, then the remote could be different. On the manual, there is a model number for the remote, if it does not match with the model number on remote, then change it.

I had the same problem.  The problem is strange and seems to be with the receiver in the TV and not the remote control.  The reason I say this is that when this first happened my Samsung brand DVD could actually control the TV.  This then also failed, but still works fine with the DVD player.
Anyway there is an even more bizarre fix to all this......
- Remove the batteries from your TV remote. - Press and hold the red (ON/OFF) button for at least 1 min. - Replace the batteries and hey presto!!
I know seems far fetched but I found it on the Samsung website and it does work.
