Keurig B-60 Single Service Coffee Maker Sticking Serving Size Buttons

Hi My Keurig B-60 with the 3 different size serving buttons on top has developed a problem where the buttons are staying stuck in the down position which makes it virtually impossible to select the right size serving. I have used some alcohol or windex to free one up but this only works for a short time and then the problem recurs. Taking this apart is not all that straightforward as I started to do that. Any suggestions or thoughts on how to fix this one? Many thanks for the help.

All three buttons are now immobile. They will not respond to a pressing action. The machine is totally inert.

    What can be done?

I've had my Keurig B60 for about a year and most of the time it works great then without warning the menu comes on and runs through all the settings over and over and over. I can't stop it and I can't set the menu. I've tried unplugging it hoping it would reset itself but that seldom works. I just keep hitting the button I want to brew my coffee with and eventually it starts brewing. It's very annoying, but I love the coffee maker when it's working.

You can put a windex and put it away whit a air pressuried can ( usaly used to removing dust on computer key board)it will probably remove the sticky source.

I did this but they were stuck still so took box cutter razor blade to pop them back up and they started moving freely again thanks to the windex. Doing this with a knife and rubbing alcohol didnt work, knife wasnt thin enough

You should put it through a cleaning cycle of vigner and let it stand for about 4 hour in this state. After rinse through with clean water about 3 times. The pump may need a good cleaning. I do this about once every 2 months.

How can I get different size lattes and cappucinos with my Franke Flair? all it gives me is a shot size serving...

enter programme button.push and hold for 5 secs.machine will show def product. press programme again to product comes up on the product you want to adjust eg use the + and - buttons to scroll through the espresso setting. if you want to adjust anything in the settings, you need to press programme. then make the adjustment with the + and- buttons then press enter when finished the actual adjustment .once finished with the espresso and happy press exit button.repeat the process for the next button. you can down load a manual at franke .com

Weak Coffee

Yep, it's the one inherent flaw in the single serve machines - someone else decides what 'the perfect cup of coffee' tastes like.  Quite presumptuous, actually.
Solution I found to be acceptable:  Buy only the extra bold flavors (there's about 5 or 6 varieties) and brew using the small cup size button.  Yes, you only fill your mug about 3/4 of the way, but at least you get a decent cup of coffee.
The ONLY flavor I found to be strong enough when brewing with the large cup control button is DOUBLE BLACK DIAMOND...the rest is crap.
