This receiver can be set up to grab the time from whatever channel you're watching. Is it possible that one of those channels has their server clock set wrong.

If you are not getting any power to the box, then the power supply may need to be changed.

My box wont turn on theres just a red light

if you have tried it in another room and it still wont come on, some of the receivers have a detachable power cord on the back, check to make sure that is in tight. otherwise the box has gone bad and nothing you can do about it.

Receiver will not respond from imputs from the TS160 remote

You are probably using a non-oem remote or one that is from another receiver, not the one that originaly came with the unit.

You should try to get one with the factory remote and not try to save a few bucks.

Maybe a neighbor has complete unit you could get for a reasonable price.
