I have an old 14" Link - Max 700 terminal. This is at a restuarant. There is a Diner Menu system on this system. Obviously this is an old system but the other terminals work. I sent non-operating terminal to a shop in Indiana where they replaced the tube and made some adjustments. When I re-connected it, it looks the same as before! (I'll have to call them on Monday...) When I turn on the terminal I see the name of the program "Diner Menu" appear. After that all I get is a cursor in the upper left hand corner of the screen. The other terminals on the network show the menu on startup and then it goes to the actual menu input page. Any ideas? Thanks.
The people that fixed your unit, may have not replaced the E- prom, that may have been progromed for your system, I would call them to see if they still have the E- prom, if thay removed it at all. Not shure this is the problem but I have been working on terminals for 25 years and this is what I would check first.. hope this helps Bob Neilson, Interstate Terminals 304-728-4331
