Samsung YH-925 I own a Samsung YH-925 mp3 player. It was working fine all these days. It had FM player along with mp3 option. Recently i updated the firmware from Samsung website (Bootloader Janus 5.05). Now there is no FM in the menu. I am not able to rollback to older version of firmware (it says cannot rollback). If any of you now how to format and reload the earlier bootloader version. Please help. Thanks for you time and input in advance. Regards, Chandan

I went into firmware update but still not working. Same message. The computer recognize de device only as a USB drive and work perfect like a portable drive. Theres no player function any more.

I lost my CD and the mp3 needs to format again. Can someboedy tell how to do ?

Do you still have the CDs that came with that disk ? Well, you had the best mp3 player, hard to find, the YH-925 with a FM. Wow that's great. You need to find a program like Eraser, and format completely your hard disk. On the back of yor player says your model number and year, based on this you can find your previous firmware in case you didn't make a backup. Good Luck !

Upgrade samsung model YH-925

Define upgrade? if you want to update the firmware go to Samsung's support site for the latest firmware and update instructions, however the current version showing there is 1.0 and that's probably the version you have, to check this select Setting, scroll down to and select About. If on the other hand you are asking about upgrading (replacing) the Hard Disk Drive this is possible but easily destructive and probably no cheaper than an simply replacing it with a new MP3 player given the cost of 1.8" HDD's. As for video playback, no unfortunately not.

i guess when you say upgrade you mean the firmware.....

if so i dont think many firware revisions have been released for this player ( if any at all exept one already installed)...
