Jvc tv we only just got tv on wednesday ( 2nd hand) no problems until this morning when you turn tv on you can hear the sound but no picture it then goes off immediately

If you can take it back I would, if it is turning its self off it has issues. It may have been dropped and a board may be cracked, or some other issue. sorry.

Sounds like your picture in picture is on with no program source for the 2nd tuner. turn off the picture in picture feature if the tv is so equiped.

Have flat panel hdtv monitor 1080i samsung no picture or sound
Tv has no picture or sound; will go out while watching. The picture will go into a line and sound and picture will go out; shortly after that tv will turn off. Hello ndulgebeauty,

This sounds like a power supply problem. I would advise that you get a qualified TV technician to troubleshoot this problem. The reason being is that the TV does not come on at all. The problem might be the main power board (AC to DC) or the secondary power board (Switching Power Supply and distribution board). Have these checked first.

if the tv set have no sound no picture, they call it dead set your tv need a repairman technician to trace your tv what was part was damage. but if your tv has standby mode mybe you entered the timer code.
