My washer is making a clicking sound

My washer stops and is making a clicking sound during washing and during the spin cycle. If I turn it off and back on it may go again for a minute or so then stops and starts that clicking sound again like it is trying to start working again. Is that the belt or motor or what? Thanks

That is the motor that is going bad. it is a loud click on and off. They have a fix kit for that it takes about 30 min to install " I have done about 30 of them.I do not think they are to pricey.

Load squeal when it in the agitation cycle.

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Washer making buzzing sound during spin cycle, then stopped during wash still has water in tge clothes, buttons light up as if going to work but nothing happens jusy buzzing noise

If I understand correctly, the washer made a sound in the spin cycle but didn't actually spin the clothes dry?
If so you may have something in the pump that is not allowing it to pump out. Disassemble the pump and make sure it is clear of any debris.
